Last Day of CNY 2013

Today is the last day of the lunar new year and we went back to Yeye's house to pray ancestor and have dinner together...

After the dinner, we went to Clementi Mall to have our favourite dessert... Yummy...

Home made Peng Cai

The chinese lunar new year is coming to an end... I went for my class in the morning...

In the afternoon, Daddy started to prepare for dinner... he will be cooking Peng Cai for dinner at Ah ma's house... see, all the good stuff in one pot...

Steamboat at Ann lao yi's house

In the morning, I went for my swimming lesson then followed Daddy to bring Yeye for his therapy... I skipped lunch today and had fruits instead... Haha, healthy diet... 

Since Ann lao yi moved in to her new place, we decided to "warm" up her house.. so went over her place in the evening for steamboat... it was a huge spread and we were all so full from the food...

Visit Master + Vivocity

Daddy had made a date with Sharon gugu, Yeye, Mama, Pak Leong and Chee Leong gor gor to visit Master as he will be returning to Thailand tomorrow.. so after my enrichment class and lunch at home, we made our way to Joo Chiat...

After that, we went to Vivocity... had tea break at Coffee bean... then we left Yeye and Mama at Coffee bean to rest while we went to shop around...

We then went back to look for Yeye and Mama to have dinner at Sushi Tei... lucky we had early dinner so the queue is short... I had my favourite sushis... 

After the dinner, Sharon gugu and the rest made their way home as Sharon gugu need to return her car... we then continue to walk around and had dessert at the newly open St Marc Cafe... its a bakery cafe from Japan with its first outlet in Singapore... We ordered 2 of their ice cream to try, drop by Giant for some shopping then went home...

Salted Egg Yolk Cookies

Mummy came across a special recipe for making Salted egg yolk cookies... so we decided to give it a try... Mummy made the dough and roll it out... cutting out heart shaped cookies and put on the baking sheet... my job will be to egg wash the cookies prior to baking..

The cookies came out great... nice savoury taste and texture... although Mummy added in 1 more yolk, the salted egg yolk taste is very mild but delicious...

Also, Daddy got me a hugging bear and I love it so much... nice color!!

Valentines Day 2013

Look what I did to Kloey's hair today... I clipped on 7 clips for her this morning and she is amused upon seeing herself in the mirror... she did not attempt to pull out after that either...

Daddy came home with a Valentine's day cake for us... its a nice raspberry cake...

CNY celebrations in School

Daddy is back to work today while Mummy decided to rest for another 2 days... However, Daddy came back in the afternoon and bring me for my CNY celebration in school... Mummy had bought toblerone chocolate for me to bring to school to share with my friends... and I brought home a "snake" made out of paper plate and decorated by myself...

Its just a 1.5 hours of school today and I am back home... In the evening, when Kloey woke up from her nap, we decided to go Jurong Point for dinner and pre-celebrate Valentine's day... Had dinner at Fish & Co..

 Then, we went to shop around and Kloey and me each got a toy from Kiddy Palace...

CNY 2013 - Day 3

Its the 3rd day of the lunar new year and here we are dressed in cheongsam today... We are going to Grand Aunty Alice's house for steamboat... she had handmade ngoh hiang for us as well...

After leaving her place, we dropped by Sengkang to pray Lao gong, Lao ma and Grand Uncle Andy at the temple... then went back to Ann lao yi's house for a visit before ending the day...

CNY 2013 - Day 2

Today, we went to Aunty Linda's house for visiting.. they will be cooking lunch for all of us... we stayed till late afternoon and went off...

On the way back, we drop by Marina at Keppel Bay for a stroll...





Grab some bites and drinks at Prive Cafe... then walk around the vicinity to take some photos... its so nice when a jogger came to us and offered to take pictures for us... so we got a nice family picture again...

We went back to Ah ma's house after that and celebrated Ren Ee Ah gu's birthday... Happy Birthday, Ren Ee Ah gu...

CNY 2013 - Day 1

 Happy Snake Year, Everyone!

Today is the first day of the lunar new year and we are all dressed in RED... symbolizing good luck and prosperity... Huat Ah! We went down to Ah ma's house first, have lunch then went over to Yeye's house... As Daddy wanted Kloey to have a proper nap so that she will not be cranky at night... we went back home to rest first before going over to Aunty Jenny's house...

Every year, all of Daddy's relatives will gather at her place to exchange oranges and ang baos... Aunty Jenny will then cater buffet for all of us...

After all the food and loh hei, we rested in the entertainment room while Kloey holds the microphone and sing us a song...

Reunion Dinner

Every year, we need to eat 2 reunion dinner and its the same for this year... We went to Grand Uncle Leng's house in the afternoon to prepare for the dinner, together with Gina lao yi...

After Grand Uncle Leng's house, we went over to Yeye's house and have round 2 of the reunion dinner... Sharon gugu ordered claypot rice from Goodwood Park Hotel and made our own "Peng Cai" too...

We also received gifts from Sharon gugu which she had bought during her HongKong trip... Thank you, gugu...

Back home, Daddy changed us into our new pyjamas... Kloey and me were being presented with our "ang baos" from Daddy and Mummy...

CNY is coming

The Lunar New Year is approaching very soon... Daddy and Mummy took leave today to run some errands and came back home early to clean up the house...

Now, our house is all done up and ready for the Snake Year.... HisssHisss...

Tired

Went for my usual activities and had lunch at Raffles Place while waiting for Yeye to finish his therapy...

On the other hand, Kloey is at home with Mummy and when she finish her lunch... Mummy let her watch Hi-5 on ipad while she went to the kitchen to wash up the dishes... When she is back, Kloey fall asleep on the sofa... think she is too tired... so funny...

We did not go back to Clementi for dinner today as Mama and Sharon gugu are off to Hong Kong for a short vacation...

Shopping Day

Went for Uncle Darren's son, Baby Jeriel's full month celebration... met up again with Mummy's colleagues and not forgetting Mattea and Keona...

After leaving Uncle Darren's place, we went off to Vivo City for shopping as Daddy had not got his New Year shirt... shopped around the mall and stop over for tea break at Starbucks... 

Went for dinner and continue with more shopping... then finally Home Sweet Home...
