Day 3 - Dong Pu to Kaohsiung

We started off this bright and sunny morning to Peacock Garden (孔雀园), there kept a breed of Taiwan National Treasure (蓝孔雀)... we also saw a very outstanding white one...

Next, we went over this famous Wen Wu Temple (文武庙) for prayers... People pray the Civil Saint of Confucius, the Military Saint of Guangong, and the Established God of two temples at the Wenwu Temple. The temple is popular among students.

The temple had been rebuilt and renovated due to the 921 earthquake that hit them in Year 1999... Mummy let me pray in the temple to for good studies

There are also wishing card in the temple for people to write down their wish and hang it up... Mummy took one for me and I wish good health and happiness in my family...

While waiting for the coach to fetch us, we crossed over the road to the opposite side of the temple and bought some Tea Egg and Taiwan Sauage... the Tea Egg are cooked with Mushroom and Lingzhi while the special Taiwan sauage is made from Black Wild Boar's meat... after that, we had lunch nearby...

After lunch, the tour guide asked if we would like to hire a yacht to take us round Sun Moon Lake (日月潭) to enjoy the scenery... wanting to give it a try, we opt for this optional tour...

As this is a private hired yacht, only people in our tour group are in the yacht...

Most of us are busy taking pictures and enjoying the sea breeze...

It was a nice experience and everyone enjoyed a lot...

Then, we visited a Aboriginal Products Shop where they promote their Royal Jelly, Wild Honey, Lingzhi Tablets, etc... but we did not buy anything from there as it is too expensive... Mummy wanted to buy the wild Honey for me but the price is almost the same as the Manuka Honey that I am taking in Singapore...

After that, we visited a Tea Garden where Mummy bought Oolong Tea for Pak pak...

The tour guide rewarded us for our punctuality by bringing us to a shopping mall called Dream Mall (夢時代購物中心)... The rooftop amusement park at Dream Mall is the home of the Kaohsiung Eye (高雄之眼) Ferris wheel.. we did not go up to the ferris wheel as there is not much time so we spend the time shopping around the mall...

Finally, we checked into the hotel for tonight... did a bit of wash up and met up to Leo Ho Night Market (六合夜市).. famous for its various choices of food and local dishes...

We sort of had our dinner at the night market buying bits of here and there to eat... Before going back to the hotel to rest... Mummy bought me an ice cream and let me play games at their game stalls while Ah ma and Ah gu went to see beauty products...

Some updates of my sister, Kloey in Singapore:

Daddy met up with Mama and Sharon gugu to go shopping at Tanjong Katong as Sharon gugu wanted to buy some rice dumpling for the coming festival... after that, they went shopping at Centrepoint Robinson and Sharon gugu bought 2 new toys for Kloey...
